About me

After graduating with a BSc in Applied Pharmacology in 2008, I carried few clinical research studies looking at the effects of polyphenol rich foods on the human body of which four were published in scientific papers. I also carried out other smaller studies looking at the effects of alcohol, caffeine, citrulline and resveratrol on cardiovascular health.

After obtaining my MSc in Science in 2010, I was involved with studies that looked at how cardiovascular health affects Alzheimer's Disease at the University of Edinburgh Neuroscience. I was also involved in teaching Biochemistry and Systems Biology to Nutrition and Dietician students at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. I also assisted in teaching Human Physiology, Cell Biology & Genetics, Molecular Biology and Microbiology.

I created BioGenie ® as a cosmetic brand in 2014 and as the business grew, people started asking what products would help with the look of their hair and skin; my answer was to look at the issue from within the body, heal the body from inside out. So, I decided to create BioGenie ® Nutritional clinic as it fits well with my interests and my passion to help people with their health and beauty.
